Used this product on a 10-yr old pair of motorcycle gauntlets. I used cheap terrycloth-cotton 'shop towels' to wipe off the cleaner. This cleaner worked better than I had expected! It got all the road grime and oil off in one pass and left the leather soft, smooth and surprising glossy. The gloves needed to dry overnight when finished, before I would apply the Nikwax glove-proof. Only downside is this stuff has an acrid odor and needs to be used in a well-ventilated setting.
